In New Zealand, it is illegal for a school to practice a public prayer to the students. Yet my high school, which I left at the end of last year, does this.

How should I go about this being removed?

Whilst sending a good message, it is, at base level, an infringement on the rights of the school-goers who came to school for a secular education and got this.

This school is a public school, and so therefore should follow the law.

Write to:The school as well as BOTH the Minister and the shadow Minister for education.
This seems like a good idea. I am still colleagues with current students, so my first action will be to ask if the prayer is still performed.
