Lancaster, CA votes Tuesday on Jesus prayer in city hall

To pray to Jesus, or not?

 

Lancaster is a fast-growing California desert community with a diverse population that includes Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Pagans and a wide variety of Christian denominations. This Tuesday it will be voting on whether or not to continue the city council's practice of starting meetings with sectarian prayers. (more here)
