Okay ... from left to right:

  • Hoggle, from Labyrinth
  • Harry, from Harry and the Hendersons
  • Beetlejuice, from Beetlejuice
  • Johnny 5, from Short Circuit and Short Circuit II
  • Marty McFly, from the Back to the Future films
  • Three gremlins, including "Stripe," from Gremlins
  • Mr. Miyagi, from The Karate Kid original films
  • E.T.
  • Robocop
  • Indiana Jones
  • Slimer, from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II
  • Ming the Merciless, from multiple Flash Gordon movies
  • Teen Wolf
  • Blaster, from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome
  • Willow

And hovering about, a couple of the gang from *batteries not included.  Plus posters on the wall from Crocodile Dundee, The Golden Child, and Big Trouble in Little China

[I sort of recognize the second poster from the right, but can't put a name to it - sorry!]

No need to be sorry.  The fact that you recognized all the others amazes me.  I could not identify more than three, but a few others were vaguely familiar.  I guess I just watch too little fantasy movies and TV.  And what do you do with YOUR leisure time looking at so many monster mashes? On the other hand, I loved the Beetlejuice movie and especially Keaton's performance. I even wonder why they didn't have a Beetlejuice II and a franchise going. Did you have familiarity with the illo and/or know ahead of seeing it here who was depicted?

Oh, and that poster to the left of Big Trouble in Little China?  That's Critters.  Never saw it, but saw the ads.

If you're talking about the poster next to the Crocodile Dundee poster, it's from Howard the Duck.

I'm so out of it...the only one I recognized was Dundee and E.T., and when I saw the first "Karate Kid" movie, I fell in love with Mr. Miyagi, but didn't recognize the drawing of him.  Fickle of me.

I'd like to see a similar drawing featuring the comic book heroes of my childhood...Superman, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman...PLASTIC MAN!

James, your image prompted me to look at Last Supper Parodies. This was my favorite. I don't know why.

Is Barbie supposed to be a stand-in for Mary Magdalene?!?

Clearly, my education is incomplete! The only one I could identify was E.T.

My favorite! Surprised?

No surprise here!

No Green Corn Tamales, either.  (I just ate my very first homemade tamales...they beat the *bleep* out of what's served at a Seder!)

I ripped that for a blog I did on atheism.
