Thanks, Christopher.
The "witch-hunt" is one of the scariest parts of this:
This new draft bill includes a provision that could lead to the imprisonment for up to three years of anyone, including heterosexual people, who fails to report within 24 hours the identities of everyone they know who is lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, or who supports human rights for people who are.
I think in Uganda they have regular witch-hunts, and now gay witch-hunts. I'd have expected the Westboro Baptist Church to support this, but now others in America support it or do nothing about it.
Please write letters of protest to the following people.

These organizations are apparently the ones who are spearheading these human rights injustices in Uganda. Here are their addresses as well.

Here is a Ugandan GLBT organization, if you wish to sign up or offer any support or help in any way: Sexual Minorities Uganda at www.sexualminoritiesuganda.org.
Excellent stuff, I was going to a do a search for them myself but surfing the net at work is difficult, not to mention contra-indicated by my contract.
I'll get writing when I get home. Thanks for doing the leg work for me.
As soon as you saw the word Pastor, all supprise was gone. So long as it's permissable for religions to create Hate Groups for which they can vent their anger and discrimination, while the rest of the people allow it to happen without comment, nothing will change.
Interesting article and Care2.com does petitions as well, I'll flag up the links as and when I find them; but this article's - in itself - worth the effort.
