The surviving Boston Marathon bomber says that he and his brother were motivated to bomb the Marathon by their religious ideology.

Any thoughts ?

Alan Dershovitz made a good suggestion: that the feds offer to forgo the death penalty, in exchange for cooperation and information. If the surviving suspect is found guilty, he should be sent to some obscure prison where he'll be forgotten in due course, rather than becoming a martyr and a rallying point.
