Sorry, if someone already posted this. Haven't had a chance to scroll through here. Just came across this story. Wtf did I just read? Fox News never fails to amuse me.

“Our message to the atheists is, hey, we’re not attacking you personally but we want you to know the truth, that there is a God who created you and you are sinners as all of us are, but that God sent his son to become a babe in a manger,” he insisted.

“What they’re really doing, the atheists, they’re really wanting to impose their anti-God religion on us, on the culture. And so we need to stand up against that.”

"we're not attacking you personally" but yet ^ that last quote. Lmao! I also love the "facts" in the article basically saying we are such an unimportant minority.

What they're really doing ... is relying on legends and stories and myths ... and NOTHING that has even the slightest bit of substantiation.  They're doing it because they were taught to do it, they were indoctrinated into that belief before they had the means to evaluate it.  And because they feel like they have some metaphysical gun to their collective heads, they continue to swallow the story - hook, line and sinker.

You don't get a whole lot more pathetic than that, really.

A "babe in a manger." One gospel says that baby jesus was found in a house, but the christians will quickly explain that this had to have been "later" after all that manger stuff. Yep! He was moved. I wonder if that is what happened also at the empty tomb?

Don't ask a christian. They think that atheism is a religion because "everybody has to worship something." It might be your wife or your stamp collection, but SOMETHNG is taking that place within you that is researved for god.

If you like being controled and think that circular reasoning makes sense, then religion is for you.
