This is just an FYI post.

I am not well informed about Islam, or the Qur'an. It's too obscure for me, and I get confused by the claim that you have to read the Qur'an in Arabic, to get the true meaning. Well, I have recently come across the YouTube channel of ex-Muslim apostate, "The Masked Arab", (TMA).

He seems to take a rational approach to scepticism about Islam, and I think a good start is with this one . . .

Some of TMA's videos are in Arabic, but he has others in English. Why not check them out ?
