Yup ... that works!
It works for me too.
Wow, what a coincidence! [wry chuckle!]
I also like Ingersoll's poem,
Happiness is the only good.
The place to be happy is here.
The time to be happy is now.
The way to be happy is to make others so.
I would say that ONE way to be happy is to make others so. Another would be to pursue those things which entice and fascinate you ... rather like someone we all know:
I want to live my life taking the risk all the time that I don't know anything like enough yet, that I haven't understood enough, that I can't know enough, that I'm always hungrily operating on the margins of a potentially great harvest of future knowledge and wisdom.
-- Christopher Hitchens
I sure do miss him.
You and me both, James ... and a LOT of others. I'm just glad of the legacy he's left us ... in his books and his talks and debates. It's not as good as having him in the here and now, but it does help.
