When young, I put "C of E" on application forms where the unwanted question, your religion?, was asked (e.g. University application form).

Nobody asked what it meant. To me, C of E meant "Critic of the Establishment", not Church of England.

Any other ideas regarding alternative meaning possibilities that involve religion? Invent if necessary

I think for the majority of people who put C of E on the census form it means fuck all.

Who's asking? I might consider putting "N/A." Perhaps "Recovered Catholic."

I'd be wary of why anybody would need to know, but if for census-type reasons, would be happy to put "Atheist."

Continuity of Evolution?

On any form that asks your religion write down "recovering."

Would this get me a free light sabre?  Because I'd totally go for a religion with benefits.
