The mission of The Atheist Community of South Chicago Suburbs (ACSCS) is to develop and support the secular community, to provide atmosphere that promotes friendship, critical thought and information literacy. The ACSCS provides a place to hang out and meet new people and participate in Atheist Stuff. We provide a tolerant environment that facilitates critical discourse, freedom of dissent and critical problem solving where individuals are encouraged to be who they are. The ACSCS is committed to furthering the development of atheist stuff by holding a meetups at locations specified on the calender.

Mini-update. Shindig is still on for the 9th.
Facebook says 5 people so far. Counting myself and Mr Joe. I'm not sure any head count was made on nexus.

I plan on crashing the Fox Valley Atheist meeting again. A pretty good group.

The Fox Valley Group was pretty cool. Just got back from them. Its about an hour or so out for me. I'll probably head out that way again in the future.

I'm still not exactly sure what a fermi lab is.
You'll have to let me know. The book is kinda dry. I'm trying to find the next level up after that one.
