Some may be interested in my collection of 70 stories from the years I worked on the streets and in the jails. It's called My Address is a River: A Place to Belong, Closer to Home.

(one request/suggestion: instead of "the homeless"--"the disabled," "the atheists" etc--maybe "homeless people"--emphasizes the humanity rather than what a person is lacking or distancing "them" from "us")
