Quo Vadis - Despite having the name of a pro-Christian novel, these guys are seriously badass. I don't actually think they're pro-Christian, from my interpretations of their lyrics. Obviously, no lyrics in these songs :P

Not your typical song by this tech/melo-death band from Montreal

Super short, but super sweet

This one's marginally more like their regular songs
Being a huge Maiden fan, I have to add a few more of their instrumentals:

Iron Maiden - Genghis Khan:

Iron Maiden - Losfer Words (Big 'Orra):

Iron Maiden - Transylvania:

Moving on from Maiden, I can't believe Metallica's The Call of Ktulu wasn't mentioned yet. It's one of their best songs ever:

And finally, some Black Sabbath:

Black Sabbath - Supertzar:

Black Sabbath - Fluff (not sure how many here will agree with me on this one, I'm a sucker for soft songs, but maybe most metalheads aren't):
Yes, Jeff Loomis is ultra win too.
1776 is one hell of a instrumental...

IN FLAMES- Dialogue with the stars

shoot...thats really all I can think of at the moment....my minds kinda scattered at the moment.
I'll add more later If I can think of any
Ok...so I might have went a little overboard, but here are some of my favorites. Some aren't strictly metal songs, but they're all metal bands.

Pelican - Drought

Agalloch - The Hawthorne Passage

Korpiklaani - Running With Wolves

Opeth - Epilogue

Death - Voice Of The Soul

Cynic - Textures

Testament - Urotsukidoji
