@Titi: Hopefully I'll get some pics to post. Honestly though, I'd trade it for being where your are right now. It's 23 degrees here!

@Joe Running: I am so so so jealous. I rarely get to see any decent metal bands. I live in HI and they just don't tour here. I did see Nile a few years back while in Minneapolis. They were amazing!

Just received my email ticket for Nile, Immolation, Krisiun, Abigail Williams, Dreaming Dead. Feb 12th ,Tulsa, at the Marquee. It's a really tiny place, so I hope to get a chance to meet Karl and Dallas. Krisiun's last album is just plain killer too.

So I played in this band when I was in High School and we played with A LOT of Christian bands. Oddly enough a lot of Christian Punk and Metal bands. That's one thing I will never understand.

We where friends with this Metal band called "Atonement" and they where BAD ASS. I was up there head banging one day to this epically brutal song, and after it was over the singer, Drew, started talking to the audience, "Hey guys, glad you could make it out, we just want to share our love with Jesus Christ with you. If you are interested, talk to us after the show! This next song is called 'March of the Retards.'"

I was blown away. Not only where they a Christian Metal band, they had a song called March of the Retards. Weird.

Ah well, can't win 'em all. That's just what happens when people JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS and refrain from doing any sort of investigation.

The Scottish Pirate Band is called Alestorm. One of the best Fantasy Pirate Metal bands alive. As for the Finnish band ... I could only venture a guess, but I'd imagine they are Korpiklaani.

We need some Vodka!

have liked metal ever since age 12 as well as many other genres of music...always like to meet open-minded, intelligent fans of heavy music, and this group looks like it fits the description!

Oh, yes, I had to get the new Dethklok! I got the special edition specifically because I wanted the music videos. As a coffee addict, I love the Duncan Hills jingle. ^__^

I love Metal: A Head-bangers Journey. I even used it in my Master's Essay on female rock singers. :) I still can't believe they let me do that, ha!
