I decided is would be a good idea to make an Anarchist group on Atheist Nexus. This group is not really for Anarcho Capitalist/Free Market Anarchists. This is mainly for Marxist Communist, Anarcho Communist, and pretty much any Anarchy that is not capitalist.

Sorry too start out like this Kyle but, "In other words, we should try to balance individual sovereignty against collective sovereignty", WTF?

The collective implies force against the individual. True anarchy can only exist people live peaceably with individual sovereignty paramount.

As for Engels idea of "scientific socialist/communist state is to evolve he people beyond the need for a state" it over looks 2 very important things.

1. Those put in charge in the concentrate their power and perks over the so-called ignorant masses and refuse to give it up. Show Name one example where a government has relinquished power peacefully.

2. Engels didn't operate in the real world. He overlooked the fact that people operate out of their own self interest. So not matter what system is created to people will find ways to game the system to their advantage at the expense of others.

Hi folx,

I've been writing for the underground press for over fifty years, and have always called myself a "left wing anarchist", but I'm really more radical than that. I believe that individuals should empower themselves and one-another to form heterarchal power structures that are NEITHER "Capitalist" nor "Communist". In other words, we should try to balance individual sovereignty against collective sovereignty in a way that maximizes cooperation and constructive competition and minimizes coercion and egotistical competition.

So I'd loved to discuss these matters with other anarchists...

Actually fetch, it isn't. Engels made it clear that the goal of a scientific socialist/communist state is to evolve the people beyond the need for a state, to make the state redundant, as it were. This is the same goal that anarchists seek, it's just that we tend to seek the goal by different paths.
