Okay Steph, more DRAGONS!!! Whoot whoot! All from Roger Dean. Love his stuff.

And some wizards. Can't have dragons without wizards!

And some other Dean stuff.

More later.

While Wreck it Ralph looks great, I'm more excited about the short that will accompany that film; Paperman

It looks absolutely beautiful! Incredible techniques are being used to get that very specific look.

'Steamboy'. Katsuhiro Otomo's steampunk/anime movie. I enjoy it very much. This scene is launching the steam castle.

From Ralph Bakshi. End scene from the movie 'American Pop'. I think this is my favorite Bakshi movie, though I really liked 'Wizards" and 'Fire and Ice'.

Sexist, yeah. Crude, yeah. Juvenile, yeah. Still, when you're a young male teen, and all you thought about was sex (mostly), this movie was da' bomb! And sf thrown in to boot, with a really rockin' soundtrack, well, it still holds fond memories for me.

Scene from the movie 'Heavy Metal'.

One of my favs is Roger Dean. He became famous in the 70's for album illustrations. Here is one in his dragon series.
