A recent find on a wall in Bisbee Arizona. Couldn't really get a clear picture of it so this is the text...."When I’m not drinking it straight up, I purrfer my milk spilt. Whether it’s off the counter, the table or the floor, milk is the purrfect drink to lap off any surface. And it’s got plenty of calcium to make my claws nice and sharp for couch shredding and curtain climbing. After a long day of play, mile the purrfect nightcap, it hit’s the spot everytime. Spilt Milk, it does a kitty good."

Plinius, a beautiful garden, and I love the cat plant as well.

These pics are from the end of May. Climate changes as far as I can see: it's hotter and drier and in between heavy rain at times. This week we're in for some tropical days of over 30 degrees. The wind usually blows from the West, bringing cool air and rain, that's the weather I like best.... It's certainly not normal, I noticed I haven't even used my winter duvet this year...

And I'll add a Luna picture to get back on topic...

Plinius, do you have plants growing this year? Is your climate behaving normally or do you notice some changes?

Luna the cat goes into the roof garden now and then, but I think the high ceiling scares her....

These cats are barn cats, intended to do the thing they like to do, catch mice. Michelle has one indoor cat that she adopted, a cat that had his claws removed. Poor thing. She doesn't go out and doesn't seem to want to.

Our dogs are watchdogs and they do an outstanding job of letting us know if anyone comes onto our property. Dominic obeys me beautifully when we are outside, and a delivery truck arrives. He barks before I even see or hear the vehicle. The hair raises on his back and takes a position between me and the car. The mail person and the Schwann man get a friendly wagging tail greeting, and he goes to his place on the porch when we are outside together, and I give him the instruction. A stranger gets no such greeting, and nothing I do can get him on the porch. I have to take physical control of his collar; he is much stronger than I, but he stays with me.

He doesn't like some people in the family; we put him in his kennel when those people come.
