Thanks for the invite to the Illuminated. Been lurking around, and it looks like something I can sink my teeth into!

It's an issue I haven't had to deal with yet, but I'm aware it may come up one day. When I worked as a receptionist in a civil engineering office, it never came up. At my part-time job in retail, it's something we are, of course, not supposed to discuss with customers. Between co-workers on the other hand...that being said, I've meet at least a couple fellow heathens at work. :)

Thanks for the invite! This is an important issue. Just as people should not discriminate against minority religions, they should not discriminate against athiesm.

Hi all,

Just thought I'd say hello as I'm a new member. I'm a IT manager/Support executive for a software house over in the UK. I'm also the only "out" atheist that I know of and as such have earned the nickname of heathen (not as bad as it sounds and there is a a story behind it to).

Anyway thanks to Dr Peter for inviting me and I hope to speaking to you all soon.

Thanks for the invitation! I am the CFO & Controller for a medium size sales and marketing company. I am the only atheist in the company. I am open about my unbelief and no one else seems to care.
