I actually have 2 exercises I do to keep
my finger tendons from being injured.
The first for strength involves squeezing
a ball 2 fingers at a time opposing the
thumb. The 2nd is really related to
steepling which is to stretch them out
before playing and after exercising. It
seems to help.
