After spending a few years plucking on friends' instruments, I picked up the guitar seriously in 1999. Probably my two biggest inspirations were Alex Lifeson and Billy Corgan.

What about y'all?

I grew up listening to my father & my uncle playing the guitar and it rubbed off on me.
I've also been playing since 13 years old. Heard a classmate playing "House of the Rising Sun", and was hooked for good. 44 years later I'm still rocking - though mainly just doing studio stuff at home (writing songs, rocording). I played professionally in cover bands and doing showcases for my original tunes back in the early 80's, and discovered that the "business of music" was more trouble that it was worth - especially while working a day job and raising 3 kids.
