Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

All good ones.

I love that one, Spud. It's perfect. You could fill in the "Did someone wish you happy holidays?" panel with a thousand other things and it would work.

Excellent post Gary.  I think I've seen it before, but I saved it just in case.

Gary, that is the tragic story about faux-gods and the smorgasbord way of picking and choosing what the parishioners hear, and want to hear. When confronted with the bible, chapter, and verse, many become delusional or use exercises of denial to rationalize irrational thinking.

Service
-------------------------

One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of the church staring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names and small American flags mounted on either side of it.

The six-year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up, stood beside the little boy and said quietly, "Good morning, Alex."

"Good morning, Pastor," he replied, still focused on the plaque. "Pastor, what is this?"

The pastor replied, "Well, son, it's a memorial to all the young men and women who died in the service."

Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large plaque. Finally, little Alex's voice, barely audible and trembling with fear asked,
"Which service, the 8:00 or the 9:30?"

Doesn't appeal to me - I'm looking at women lately..

If I was in a personal relationship with a Jesus that looked like that, I'd want to brag about it to as many people possible every chance I had.
