Newscaster in front of a house: “Flouting tradition, this shameless atheist couple has chosen to mark Christmas with an offensive folk- and pagan-inspired display.” (The couple are kissing under a mistletoe sprig the man is holding, and the house has a speaker playing “Jingle Bells”, strings of colored lights, holly wreaths, a red-nosed reindeer on the roof, a picture of Santa Claus above the front door, a Christmas tree, snowflake decorations on the window, a snowman with top hat, and yard decorations of an elf, a fireplace with stockings, and wrapped presents.)

The Goat Herder's Guide to the Galaxy [open Bible with ray of light shining down]

This was from comments on a Joe.My.God. article. Someone said "Douglas Adams would love it!", to which I replied and pointed out an antiparallel to the Hitchhiker's Guide:

"And the Goat Herder's Guide to the Galaxy has "PANIC!" (at the invisible god's wrath, as meticulously and passionately expounded by his duly appointed representatives in their duly appointed silly hats -- never mind that they often vehemently disagree with his other duly appointed representatives in their duly appointed silly hats!)."
