Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Joseph, I"m not familiar with Fight Club.  I just know I like hot sauces.  By the way, Sriracha's 2nd ingredient is sugar.  Thai Chili Garlic sauce from the same manufacturer, is not squeezable squirtable but has no sugar and I think it tastes better.  Just as hot too.

Betty Bowers did God's performance appraisal.  Jehovah needs a work improvement plan (WIP) as they used to say at my old corporate taskmaster.

Heh, I'm not sure about handing out life advice from Fight Club, even if it is through the medium of hot sauce, Daniel.  ^.^

It amazes me how many people don't get that that movie is a comedy, though.  We're not supposed to want to emulate the "His name is Robert Paulson," drones.

If you see those guys and think that that's what you want to be, then there was something completely screwed up in your head, coming into the movie.  You can't hold the movie responsible for that.

Also, it's the perfect movie to hold up as the exception to the almost universal rule about movies being exceptionally bad representations of the book upon which they're based.  On one side, you have Starship Troopers.  On the other side, you have Fight Club and Forrest Gump.

Bottle of sriracha, labeled 'SRIRACHA HOT CHILI SAUCE - TUONG UT SRIRACHA [picture of rooster] DELICIOUS HOT COCK - DISTRIBUTED BY SOME THAI DOODS - NET WT. 17 OZ (1 LB 1 OZ)'Thanks for the sriracha link! So you love delicious hot cock; who would've guessed? :)

For those who say that there's one god with many manifestations, consider that both the Flying Spaghetti Monster and Jibbers Crabst boiled for our sins!

Only about religion to the extent that I worship hot sauce, but I did love Oatmeal's take on Siriracha.

Thanks GC I remember Jibbers Crabst now.  Somehow I think Inman might be nontheist. :-)

Speaking of lobster and The Oatmeal, Matt Inman's take on Jibbers Crabst is worth watching.

"...God! ...I don't mean some general god we can all rally around and believe in... My god is a fire-breathing lobster who lives behind the rings of Saturn. And his name is Jibbers Crabst."

The Oatmeal has been one of my favorite comic resources for years.  It's definitely full of lots of laughs.

The creator (comic creator, that is) Matthew Inman has a very poignant story from his childhood.

When your house is burning down, you should brush your teeth

Many of his comics involve cats.

Daniel - You've made me an Oatmealophile.

I was instantly hooked right here:

(Strangely enough, haven't noticed a spate of school bus fires.)

This may have been posted here before.  I'm just posting the first panel and the link, so the writer gets the credit on his webpage for clicks.

The Oatmeal is one of my favorite cartoons these days.

Mike Pence Promises To Create The Department Of Anti-Witchcraft (Laughing in Disbelief)

... The handbook of the DAW will be the gold standard of anti-witchery, the 1490 classic the Malleus Maleficarum (The Hammer of Witches). ...

... “The Bible is true and the Devil is real,” stated Vice President Pence’s assistant, Andrew Canard. “What we really need to do is break the cycle where women are introduced to really hot and virile devils. Once that cycle is stopped, God  willing, we will be able to ferret out and prosecute guilty witches who are spoiling our cows’ milk, and making male Republican politicians super-gay for penis and female Republicans uppity.” ...
