Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

A born-again Christian was caught in the rising floodwaters of New Orleans after Katrina. As the water rose to the level of the windows of his house, a police boat came down the street/river and beckoned him to jump in.
"No thanks," said the BAC, "the lord will save me."

Several hours go by and the water floods the first floor of his house, so he goes up to the 2nd floor and looks out the window. Along comes another boat with a rescue party.

"Jump aboard, we'll take you to safety"

"No thanks", said the BAC, "the lord will save me."

The water keeps rising and he has to crawl out on his roof.
The currrents are now a raging torrent, whirling debri, and about to sweep his house away. Looking up, he sees a helicopter dangling a rope.

"Grab ahold and we'll pull you to safety!"
"No thanks - the lord will save me!"

His house is then washed away and he drowns.
Waking up in the afterlife, he sees God before him.

"Dear God," he says, "I have worshipped you al my life. Why didn't you save me?"

Gods says, "WTF, I sent 2 boats and a heilcopter..."

@Ivy and Jason: I used to own that great piece of literature, and more! I owned that other called "If God Loves Me Why Can't I Get My Locker Open?" and a few more, including one about toothpaste and making decisions. I can't remember the name but the cover was neon pink, I think. My sister had one about dealing with crisis, too. My grandma loved to give us stuff to throw away, apparently.
