Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Chris, this is a humour group so please give Joseph more credit. :)

Joseph, Scientism refers to the belief in the universal applicability of the scientific method and approach.  Naturalism refers to the philosophical view that the natural universe and its natural laws and forces, as opposed to Supernatural laws and forces, operate in the universe, and that nothing exists beyond the natural universe or, if it does, does not affect the natural universe.

My story is about a guy who saw fit to try and use a misunderstanding of what religion truly is to try and convince me of the incorrect fact that Atheism is a religion and failed to do so when I poked a huge hole in his logic.

I don't want to get into a back-and-forth conversation with you over a humorous story from my life that I could tell around a water cooler in an office building.

I wasn't even going for anything like Poe. I wouldn't rate it any higher than sarcasm.

Chris, Joe was playing POE

And Joe, don't forget, god made the scienticians and automatic dog naturals as well!

Do I need to load on more Creationist buzz-words next time, to make it more obvious?

Joseph, what do scientism and naturalism have to do with my story?  It's a story about some guy who tried to prove to me that Atheism was a religion and failed.

And if you actually read my story, you'd read that it was my "Proud to be an Atheist" bumper sticker that told him I was an Atheist, not God.  If you think there's even a chance that God told the guy I was an Atheist, I think you might be on the wrong site.

Chris, I think you're being very dismissive.

Just because your scientism and dogmatic naturalism tell you there's a simple cause and effect doesn't mean that God didn't tell him you're an atheist.

Excellent, Chris!  Give me an idea, too:  I want a bumper sticker that says "Former Atheist" in large letters and "Evangelical Atheist, Now" in somewhat smaller letters beneath.  Then, let them come up "just to talk for a minute..."

@Jim S and Greg LeGore.  Thanks, you guys can use that same argument if you ever find yourselves in a similar debate.  Especially if it's on Fox News or another national television or radio show hosted by an bigoted idiot.
