Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Which still doesn't make direct sense, in any way that a normal person would phrase it.  They probably screwed something up in a translation somewhere.

It does make sense.  You have to count this way:  Friday, Saturday, Sunday.  makes 3 days.  It doesn't say 3 days later but on the third day.

You're asking for religion to make sense, Alice.  You know better than that.  If that was the worst contradiction in the Bible, I would be amazed ... well, not in the Bible, but in Christian dogma.  Whatever.

Joseph - correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that 2 days between Friday and Sunday?

Well, that puts you one step ahead of his Christian coworker.

Alice,  I never went to church either but, I know the significance of Easter.
Comment by Joseph P on April 21, 2011 at 7:02pm

Good Friday is three days before Easter Sunday.  Good Friday is the day Jesus died.  Easter is the day he resurrected.  It's basic Christian mythology.

And this moronic Christian didn't know the details of the MOST IMPORTANT EVENT IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH and denied it when it was explained to her.

The "were you there?" is the bullshit that Creationists teach their kids to ask science teachers, any time they talk about Evolution, the Big Bang Theory, or anything outside of Biblical literalism.
