Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Say, have you ever wondered how to rationalize baby kiling? Wiiliam Lane Craig has the answer!

Mukund,

Ahhh, I understand!

And welcome to the site.

:o)

Sorry for the confusion. When I say 'funny' I mean 'odd' and 'humorous'. The farther you wish to get away from something, the closer you will get to the topic. Off course, the reason I became a member of this subgroup was because I like the humour in it.

On the second topic, while we rationalisits do not care which 'devil' sponsors our activities, it certainly is funny

Thanks for the responses

Mukund – you could start your own blog about it!

Not surprising that we all find ourselves attracted to a group that is about the absence of something rather than the presents of something – what else could you expect – but to find God a lot on a site dedicated to being without one!

Yeah, we don't have much control over the ads, Mukund.  Well, we have control over some of them, but then we use a Google ad service, which matches things up to keywords on the page.  You end up with some hilarious mismatches, because of that, such as ads for something stuck onto a page with a conversational thread bashing that subject.

Mukund, I'm confused.  Are you saying you found ONLY two funny items?  And that the rest of the posts here were NOT funny because they make reference to gods, religion, and christianity?  And that some of the ads are promoting theism and astrology?

Since I become a member of the Nexus yesterday, I found two funny items in the Nexus website.
1.) Words like god, religion, christianity were found in abundance, whatever the purpose
2.) The site is sponsored by theists and astrologers

Can anyone introduce me to a group where these words are barred and we discuss about that clean world.

I wrote a rant on the Royal Wedding. If you're an atheist and OK with the hype then you're doing atheism wrong.
