This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Even some poverty-level workers will sometimes give someone a handout.

I was stopped at a traffic light at the end of an off-ramp, and there was a young man holding a sign that said, "Let's Be Honest.  I Want a BEER!"  I laughed out loud and gave him a coupla bucks....

As for me, I'd rather pray to a homeless person. As a general rule, they're more honest and less likely to rob you than a trust fund brat who never had to work a day in their life.

Yup.  ;-)

And there is a very slight chance a rich person will give you something.  No chance a god will.

Lee, I agree that Hank's Ass analogy is great.

Patricia, I commented to Richard about the "stop following" problem.

Most of you know that I live with my JW-Asperger's Syndrome sister.  I have wanted to print Hank's Ass for her for YEARS, but don't have the nerve.  (Anyroad, she seems to be going through one of her periodic fits of avoiding all that right now, and I don't want to upset that applecart just in case it's permanent this time...)

I LOVE the Hank's ass analogy. First saw it years ago and was instantly insanely envious that I didn't write it.

I agree Patricia.

Felaine, that warning label is a keeper!

On circular reasoning, here's a bit from Jim Huber's parable "Kissing Hank's Ass":

Me:   "You're saying Hank's always right because the list says so, the list is right because Hank dictated it, and we know that Hank dictated it because the list says so. That's circular logic, no different than saying 'Hank's right because He says He's right.'"

John: "Now you're getting it! It's so rewarding to see someone come around to Hank's way of thinking."

Me:   "But...oh, never mind. What's the deal with wieners?"

Mary: She blushes.

(They then discuss Hank's commandment to "Eat your wieners on buns, no condiments.")
