Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

This wasn't created as a humor piece, but it gave me a laugh anyway. Here's a short (3.5 minute) NPR Youth Radio segment on how some children progress from belief to disbelief in Santa Claus:

Of course the little guys in the beginning are cute, but check out the skeptical, logical thinking from the 5th graders! They're unintentionally hilarious, but brilliant. And the teenager at the end has an alternate name for Santa Claus that made me laugh every time she said it.

christians can't tell fantasy from reality, nor can jews, muslims, hindus, buddhists, etc.

Speaking of songs, here's one of my favorite agnostic/atheist holiday songs. "Christma-Hanu-Rama-Ka-Dona-Kwanzaa" by Roy Zimmerman. Don't know if he's come up on here yet, but he has a lot of great, funny songs (including an album PeaceNick which is songs making fun of Christmas, religion, and war). Sometimes it's laugh-out-loud funny, other times more subtle. I found out about him on the American Freethought podcast a year or so ago.

Glad to hear it Aiden, about the Rhythm of Life. I should have listened to the lyrics more closely!

I took it from She should to say nitrogen instead of neon but I still find it funny.

The lyrics don't specify that he's spreading the christian gospel, instead he sets out to "Spread the religion of The Rhythm Of Life". It reads to me like it's a song about a traveling musician, not a preacher, who loves music as if it were his religion. A lot of songwriting is all about metaphor and other figures of speech, so I don't think it's meant to literally convey that he was spreading "The Gospel" as in witnessing Jesus...

@Aiden, it's called "The Rhythm of Life". It's mentioned briefly on I only recognize it because it was on a paint commercial a few years back and couldn't get it out of my head, so I googled it to find out what the song was.
