Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Chris, I have always been fascinated with accents and alternate spellings.  Your English is far superior to a lot of stuff I see on the net...like "too, to, two," and the illiterate variations of "there."  THOSE drive me bonkers

Ha! I try to write reasonable English, but the Dutch comes through....

Glad I could contribute something.

Now I'm wondering about Yolande...is she still alive?  Is she well?  I hope so; she was such a hoot!

Felaine, thanks for letting me know what HIhihi means.

Chris, you just reminded me of someone I haven't thought of in years.  Thanks!

Yolande was from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and there were 4 of us who used tto room together on the road sometimes.  We used to pull silly jokes on each other backstage, in the dressing room, wherever.  One night I found "Hi Hi" written in eyebrow pencil on my makeup mirror,  I couldn't figure it out....in the USA, "Hi" is pronounced "High."  To Yolande it was "Hee-hee."  She was laughing at something I'd said or done.

Thanks for the memory.

Thanks for the "Loophole" song!  I'm adding it to my collection, along with Roy Zimmerman's "Abstain with Me."  Wish they'd written songs like these when I was in high school...we needed real sex education.

Anyone else notice the name of the town? A dick church...perfect design for the location: Dixon, IL!
