Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

They're asserting the patriarchy with their floppy-dong-building.

I've seen that overhead shot before.  It's amazing that nobody seemed to be able to read a simple blueprint before construction started.

Or...Mayyyyybeeeee....it's a protest against Viagra?  (They don't believe in modern medicine.)

Heh.  I know you're going to get some random shapes that look explicit, purely by accident, because we're pattern seeking creatures, as are pretty much all animals.  But when you get something that distinct, I have to wonder if they hired some contractor who decided to dick around with them, because he hates the denomination.

Refractory period...

Got it, Pat.  Poor guy seems a bit droopy!

Go to Google Maps. In the upper left hand corner where you put the locale you are searching for, type in:

Christian Science Church, West 1st Street, Dixon, IL

Once it appears on the map, zoom in on it, and then switch to earth mode or the satellite view. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself.

Yeah, so many Jesus-based Renaissance-paintings to pick from.  Unless it's one of the biggest 8 or 9 that get used in everything, I probably don't know it by name.  There's the The Creation of Adam chunk of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, which everyone knows, but a lot of others kind of blur together with the dozens of others with a similar image, done in a similar artistic style.

Don't know the original painting. Got the pic off the Illinois Atheist Facebook website.

Heh, good Photoshop job.  The dice are done in the same style as the rest of the painting.

What's the original painting?  Looks like a classic Jesus-reaching-out-to-us image, although judging from the people in the background, it might be pulling from one of the various in-front-of-the-masses miracle-stories.
