This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Daniel, I like your Humor strip. You keep me salivating over your cooking and laughing over your cartoons. Result: pools of drool.

Great, Daniel!

Daniel, that's a good retort to all the bible thumpers.  Just wish I could say that.

How many help us prevent disease?

True Loren.

Okay, I gotta ask: how many of those soi disant "answers" the bible offers have any genuine utility?  How many help us grow food or build structures, create semiconductors or forecast the weather?  How many of them actually allow us to understand ourselves and the world around us?

Answer: not bloody many.

Because some of us want to know instead of believe?

Good one GC.

A young woman, hair in bunches, is studying at a desk, reading a book marked SCIENCE. Beside her is a tall stack of other books: ETHICS, CALCULUS, PHILOSOPHY, CHEMISTRY, LITERATURE, GEOLOGY, PHYSICS, PSYCHOLOGY, BIOLOGY, ARCHEOLOGY, COSMOLOGY, BOTANY, PSYCHOLOGY, BIOLOGY, ARCHEOLOGY, PALAEONTOLOGY, ASTRONOMY, ZOOLOGY, and GENETICS. [Yes, there are a few repeats.] Her companion at a second desk is reading a “HOLY BOOK”, looking at her, and thinking, “Why read all those other books when this one has all the answers?”
