A Kansas jury deliberated just 37 minutes before convicting an anti-abortion activist of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of an abortion provider.

I don't even know why he was allowed to do that. Paul Hill wasn't allowed to use "necessity" as his defense. Basically the court decision was that if they allowed every activist to use their cause in the case, then they would enable people to commit crimes for a cause--and if the cause is so important you're willing to break the law, you better also be ready to go to jail for it.
One instance where the jury was right on par with common sense.....bravo!!!!
