On CNN, an author claims that many youth are following a mutant form of Christianity (the purple ninja turtle) - and she's warning people about it.

She suggests that the new form of Christianity is self-serving (because the "old" form wasn't!).

CNN either moved the page or removed it. The link says "page not found".
Whoops.. http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/08/27/almost.christian/index.html

I missed the "l" on the end.

I have updated the original post.
In that case all Christianity is a mutant form of Judaism.
Isn't her brand of Christianity already watered down?
"Some critics told Dean that most teenagers can't talk coherently about any deep subject..." Hehehe.

At least it looks like the teens interviewed are becoming "indifferent and inarticulate about their faith." Must be some kind of good sign.
we can only hope.
"There are countless studies that show that religious teenagers do better in school, have better relationships with their parents and engage in less high-risk behavior," she says. "They do a lot of things that parents pray for."

Really? Who ran these studies? I want to know how badly they creamed their data.

Besides that, I really like these findings. Hopefully, the next generation will turn out mostly Atheist, then.
