Says people are on welfare because they are not reading the bible

While it may be true that people that are illiterate can't read the bible, and also may end up on welfare due to their illiteracy, these same group of people also seem to have a very strong religious faith. They have been led to believe that they are in the shape they are in due to predestination, it is gods will.

Those that can read and are on welfare, probably read the bible more that average, trying to figure out why god has forsaken them so.

Did he actually say "axiom"?  I didn't think Barton knew any words with more then 2 syllables.

The problem is never reading the Bible......the problem is the failure to examine it.

Of course, they have also been led to believe they will get their reward in heaven.
