And in local (to me, sort of) news...

Court records show that Fairfax County Police are conducting a murder investigation to determine whether a Korean-American teenager died last year from injuries sustained in a religious ritual or exorcism.

Eighteen-year-old Rayoung Kim of Centreville died in July 2008 of blunt force trauma, according to medical examiners, and her death was ruled a homicide.

According to an affidavit, Kim's brother told police that family members had been performing a religious ritual on Kim in the minutes before she lost consciousness.

Kim's father said Thursday in a brief phone interview that police have their facts wrong and he does not understand why his family is under investigation. He declined to comment on whether an exorcism had been performed.

Wow, he's dense then. If your kid dies due to homocide involving blunt force trama while in your care, of COURSE you are going to be investigated. I don't care if religion is involved or not: you beat your kid to death you go to jail and stay there until you die of old age.
Warning: Religion may be dangerous to your life.
And that's why you have to be an ordained priest, acting under the permission of the local bishop, after a medical examination of the patient, before you can perform an exorcism. If you want to inflict bullshit on your family at least find someone trained in bullshit to do it so that you, the novice bullshitter, won't accidentally kill your fucking daughter.
