The IRS Says It Will Finally Enforce the Rules Barring Pastors from Endorsing Candidates from the Pulpit

Back in November of 2012, the Freedom From Religion Foundation sued the IRS because of the government agency’s “failure to enforce electioneering restrictions against churches and religious organizations.”

About damned time.  This should help with some of the tax shortfall, after the 2016 elections.

Finally---after they tried to quash the lawsuit, and a Judge forced them to comply.

As more than a couple commenters on the article said, I'll believe it when I see it.  What I won't be surprised by is a bunch of complaining from butt-hurt christers who will claim this is yet more persecution against their precious belief system.

Well yeah, they're being persecuted when they get dragged into court for murdering gay people.

Joseph, that's not PER-secution, that's PROSECUTION!  [grin!]

No, pro-secution is when it's a good thing.  Thus the prefix.  And Jesus approves of emotionally torturing gay people, so stopping Christians from doing that can't be a good thing.
