Silly me, donating to groups supplying vaccinations, and medicine to combat the raging cholera epidemic! Evidently what the Haitians really need are used baseball uniforms. I guess the theory is that a few innings of America's favorite pastime will cheer those sickly Haitians right up.
There are secular charities, many who send aid to Haiti, without strings attached (attending prayer meetings or sermons) or "skimming off the top."
They're trying to send people in Haiti clothes. But I agree that it shouldn't be limited to just baseball uniforms. They need many types of clothing as well as food and vaccinations.
