Here is the crap i see at work. i made a complaint about this guy for violating the company policies on religious/political agendas, but they did nothing because he's a president. bah!

Hmm, not sure how many there are around you, though.  We've got one in South Africa, I know ... same continent, but further away from you than the girls in Europe.  I think most of our Europeans are from either Britain or the Scandinavian region.  Lots of Swedes, Finns, and Danes on here.

@Alex: I know what you're talking about re: Bob Jones University - or should it be prison camp? I lived in Clemson/Seneca for a year and a half and went to Greenville quite a bit. I'd see the BJU campus, with the fences, walls and guards, and ask myself, "is this a campus or prison?" Couldn't believe it.

Preachers like that are all over. Back when I was at Eastern Illinois in the mid- to late-80s (and I imagine they still show up), there was a series of preachers - going by the names Brother Jed (Jed Smock), Sister Cindy (Jed's wife), Brother Jim (Jim Gillies), Brother Max (the late Max Lynch) and another guy who clashed with them named Brother Mike (Mike Woronicki). It was the usual amount of fire-and-brimestone crap. I distinctly remember one of them - I think it was Max - saying "If you are a good Christian, you will be a good capitalist." Capitalist, of course, spread out over a small amount of time, just like "all them ho-mo-SEX-uals!" They would show up right after the start of the school year in late August or early September, set up space on the Library Quad and have at it all day.

I tended to ignore them personally. They never said a word to me, and I didn't go after them. But they were a source of amusement for the campus for a few days before they hit the road.

We need to send this guy some love: James Dimock, Minnesota State University, Mankato

This is the article: Answering an Uninvited Preacher

Also good for Tara Mitchell who organized the protest with Professor Dimock advising.

The preacher had some choices, but chose to let the protesters stay, then he complained about them. First amendment protection for me but not for thee, I guess.
