Whether you're a professional, a student, an amateur, an enthusiast, whatever! Lots of atheists love science. Might as well have a group for it!

Feel free to nerd out, link articles, talk about your favorite field of research, whatever!

I've been super busy with school this semester -- no time for Atheist Nexus, sadly!!
If anyone who's around here a lot wants me to toss them moderation privileges to run this group or anything, just send me (Sara) a message! Thanks!

Removed ability to send mass messages to everyone in the group. At 1000+ members, that seems like asking for spam.

Offer still open if anyone active in the group wants moderation privileges, but it appears everything has been going smoothly with all kinds of great discussions without moderation. Fantastic! :)

I am so FUCKIN mad, I tried to Google "trilobites" and I got an adv. that I could not erase.  I got rid of my TV  because of adv. litter and am I going to have to get rid of my computer as well?

In any even, I collected hundred of trilobites in central Texas and they are beautiful!  What a wonderful adventure you have planned.  I didn't go there, but I understand Arkansas has some beauties, and Wyoming.  But, the best way to discover where they are is through the search engine that does not dead end you into adv.

Does anyone know where I can take my daughter to dig trilobites? Without having to pay a fortune? Campgrounds nearby? We'd like to find other fossil beds as well. Our summer vacation will be a fossil digging trip, I hope.

Microbes rule! Literally :P So I am shamelessly linking you all to my microbe comic blog where you will find fun, fascinating, fuzzy, microbes for the whole family!

Storms on one side and storms on the other side we could just all move to the center of the country. No, wait a minute don't we have a super volcano sitting under Yellowstone Park. So much for the land of milk and honey. I guess this means we are all going to die someday. I feel so unprepared. Any body got a valium?

I wonder if the fundamentalists will blame this on the DADT repeal/
