Looking for comments and help for my Blog to dispel the myth of India being a land of spirituality and superstition, as a great treasure of Atheist literature for over 2600 years. Suggestions are most welcome as well the criticism, Here is the link http://schoolsofthoughtofindia.wordpress.com/
Thanks to all atheists
Hi all. New member here. My blog is stream of consciousness, not focused on anything in particular. Well, actually, I post a lot about my husband being a weirdo. I did post a blog about being an atheist. Don't feel obligated to go to it since it's not the main subject matter. And it's really not that popular I just figured I'd link it too, since it exists.
I'm curious to see if anyone knows how the site-stats for Wordpress stack up relative to those of google, etc. ...or alternatively, if there is any good published info. on this. My google-fu generally turns up generic advice on metablogs, ...i.e. filler.
Specifically I am curious to see how likely it is that a unique hit in the Wordpress counters matches (or doesn't) those used by google search engines. I notice that if I put up a photo-gallery for example, then every time someone looks at a picture I get a unique hit as far as Wordpress is concerned. I wonder if that's how it works on Google. In contrast, if someone goes directly to a photo on a regular page, I don't think I get a hit at all as far as WP shows.
I'm also curious about some other quirks. I am fairly certain I have had people link in from twitter without triggering a hit count either on twitter referals or on the page they went to. Whether or not I got a hit at all, I can't say.
Anyone else have a sense for how all this arcana works?
I just joined Atheist Nexus and have begun to explore the wealth of possibilities. It wasn't so long ago that atheists were in the closet with gays (well, maybe not the same closet), but the Internet has brought us together in ways that were simply impossible before. Wish I'd had it in grade school, when they made us recite the Lord's Prayer (I didn't). My blog is www.thejewishatheist.com , and I invite all readers to check it out. Coming from a Jewish background gives one a unique take on God and atheism. I will be publishing some of my posts here. I look forward to hearing from fellow heretics.
Hey Bloggers,
For all those people who have blogs, had blogs or want a chance to blog, but don’t feel you have enough time to post several times a day (which is needed to get a good readership), a number of use are putting together a group blog under http://desktopsimians.com/ and I have started a group discuss how were going focus.
If this sound like something you might be interested in, please feel free to message me with a sample of your work and we can get you on the list under http://www.atheistnexus.org/group/desktopsimians

Religion Gone Crazy is my favorite Atheist blog. I’m submitted articles to it and 3 were used. I’ve been reading it for a year. It’s now for sale at http://www.religiongonecrazy.com/religion-gone-crazy-dot-com-for-sale/ . Whoever buys it should have fun.
