Cancer

If you have cancer.

If you had cancer.

If you know someone with cancer.

If you want to talk about cancer.

We won't pray.  We won't blame gods.  We won't give credit to gods.

We face the diagnosis and know, it is what it is.

To the extent that we can, we will define our own course.

Cancer

Cancer changes lives.

We have to deal with medical profession.

We have to deal with medications.

We have to deal with new discomfort and pain.

We have to create dignity, where there is indignity.

We have to deal with family members, friends, coworkers, and strangers, in a changed way.

We resolve to go forward with strength, resilience, purpose, pride, and integrity.

We define ourselves. Cancer does not define us.

Thanks again, to the best support team I could possibly have.

Michael, I do hope that you get a diagnosis and Rx that is more user-friendly.

BTW, congratulations on your good news, Joan.

Well, Joan, something is happening for the better. I think my belly is a little smaller and I have a new doctor that I won't see until sometime in April. I'm hoping she will listen to me on this issue and how things developed, but others tell me "good luck on that." The general consensus is that the health industry is a make money business. If you are not dying take a couple of pills and STFU! A change that I'm seeing now may be due to the enzyme Nattokinase. Soon I'll be taking Serapeptase as well. It's on order now.

Joan, I for one hope you'll be at the party for quite some time!

Thank you, each and everyone. Yes, I had full confidence it would be "benign".
The cancer came at a good time in my life because, at my age, the only mountain to cross is death. I don't fear it; I just realize that the party will continue without me.
In the meantime, I get to read all I want to, write as I want to without fear of hurting feelings. However, I am more interested in telling my truth to whoever will listen and create my little food forest.

Glad to hear your good news Joan.  Even though you probably expected that news, I'll bet it felt very good to hear.

Keep it up Joan---i.e. bringing forth the good news that we all want from you.
