RE Voodoo, it's an ancient religion imported from Africa that believes in many deities. So, I suppose the answer is that an atheist would not believe in Voodoo, its deities, and their supposed powers. I’m not so familiar with Voodoo’s beliefs and practices but I am familiar with West African ones from which much of Voodoo is derived. From a cultural point of view I find it extremely interesting and worthy of more study. In terms of Voodoo’s interaction with conventional western religion, over the centuries white men have deluded themselves that their beliefs were superior and imposed their manufactured religion(s) on indigenous ones, like Voodoo and traditional West African religions and generally destroyed people’s cultures.
