Still watching and have reached a fairly early conclusion:

Jean Houston is a pseudo-intellectual fuckwit.

Thanks for the link Aiden, but at only 10 minutes in I'm already finding it hard to watch. Chopra and Houston are just so damned wishy washy that it makes my head hurt.

Does God Have a Future?

A 30-minute edited version of this debate will air late this evening on ABC Nightline’s Faceoff. Or, if you prefer to see the full 90-minute debate, you can watch it online now. The debate featured Michael Shermer and Sam Harris on one side with Deepak Chopra and Jean Houston on the other side.

We'll get around to different brands as we locate individuals who can contribute knowledge. Your three hosts know the most about Christianity because that's the environment we were raised in, although we do significant research we like to provide an "insiders view" when discussing other brands of "woo", we've got some more guests lined up for the future and are always keeping an eye out for new guests as well to fill in knowledge gaps.

I just want to say I greatly appreciate the pieces on Scientology. Talking about the silliness of the Abrahamic religions like you did in the early days was very informative, but at this point for a lot of us it would be beating a dead horse. Thanks for beating another religious horse to death =D

fo real. I second Eric's motion. Those guys are entertaining and definitely give a good perspective on mormonism. It took them a little bit to get their sea legs, but have definitely hit their stride. ....and they talk smack to each other just about as consistently as you guys do.
Great shows! Aloha, heathens!

Thanks Eric, we'll check them out. We probably should get around to doing a show about bullet proof underwear sometime soon. How can you not?

@ Charioteers You mentioned your lack of mormon knowledge on a previous show and I think you should get the guys from "Irreligiosophy"(I know it is a messed up word) Chuck and Lieghton as guests. They do a podcast as well and you could both benefit from being each others guests. They are both former mormons living in the Salt Lake City area. Any mormon will tell you there are mormons and then there are Utah mormons.
