I saw that on earlier and it made me laugh. I guess God didn't even like the artist's work, or was offended.

Thanks for the link, Mark. It's funny that when tragedy strikes Haiti, it's because they practice voodoo and witchcraft, but when tragedy strikes a statue of Jesus it's a natural disaster. Also, I watched the news clip and found it amusing that the statue was nicknamed "Touchdown Jesus" and "Big Butter Jesus" by the locals. It goes to show just how seriously such outward displays of religiosity are taken by their neighbors.

So when you guys record the show while drinking bourbon...?

Where I come from, shirtlessness is an inevitable consequence of being drunk.

Ok, Lamar, I see you are specifically against the open-handed slap fight part, but not the shirtless part.

@Wes: I'd love to get drunk and trade stories with Matt Dillahunty, but I'll pass on the open handed slap fight in the front yard (oh, bittersweet memories of a redneck past). The inevitable ass-whoopin' I'd likely get handed would just be too embarrassing :P

Sad about Maher, that we can't really count on him as a real skeptic.
