"The Trump administration's threats to abandon Obama's Clean Power Plan and exit the Paris accords don't necessarily mean all is lost."

"Thomas Jefferson urged Americans to “crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.”
"Today the conflict between the unfettered greed of unregulated capitalism and the right of the people to regulate industry with self-governance has reached extreme proportions. Corporations now have more power than many nations and feel justified in manipulating democracy to improve their bottom lines instead of the common good."
Jefferson recognized the "crushing power" of "moneyed corporations" and our generation feels the full impact of what it means to have money controlling our Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of government. Moneyed corporations control all news media, including the newspapers, radio, and TV and they have the vindictiveness to bring down competition from alternative news sources without a blink of an eye.
Moneyed corporate media use a form of ad hominem argument, character assassinations, defamation, disinformation, distortions, distractions, exaggerations, lies, manipulation of facts, and misleading half-truths to present an untrue picture of the real world
