Are they destroying in the lower class or growing it?

That made me think of this article that I read recently on about the Fed's war on the middle class. It's about how the Federal Reserve's inflationary finance policies are destroying the middle and lower class.

I want to explain the above picture. I saw this in the town that I'm now living in. The bottom "FU" sign is a movie poster that the theater in the same strip mall put in front of the Countrywide Home Loans office.

I don't know if the "FU" is more of my attitude toward the bailouts and nationalizations going on, or if it's more of how Countrywide kinda felt toward their customers.

Either way, I thought it was worth sharing.

Objectivist, Libertarian, Individualist, good group; let's fight to at least keep the Democratic party secular if we can't realize Jefferson's vision; protest the choice of Rick Warren for the inauguration.

Hey Vincent,

I believe that the most patriotic thing you can do is to question your government.

Welcome! I've been ultra busy with my almost 1 year old boy and work... It's nice to see this community growing.

Thoughts on the Obama victory?

I grew up a hard, hard, core Republican, and flirted with libertarianism in college. These days I consider myself a moderate who can't stand the more obnoxious aspects of the American Left (i.e. maternalism) and Right (theocratic militarism).

Over the past few years I've become less and less sure of what my political views are (finally moving from Christianity to atheism certainly didn't help).

I guess I'm a moderate with Libertarian leanings? I'd like the government to largely back off and not interfere with our lives, though I recognize that in some cases it's the best choice, such as with roads.

I'm certainly open to new ideas, though.
