I like beading and make necklaces. I made my mom one for her birthday.
I've done cross stitch before and oil painting and all sorts of things.
Just dabbling in different things - mostly beading right now.
Locker hooking is a type of weaving, using wool rovings or strips of fabric. You use a long crochet hook with an eye in the opposite end. Here is a link to a YouTube video and one to a tutorial (with a video, as well). Unfortunately, it's not a popular product and I'm not creative enough to make my own designs, but I've made a few projects with good results. It is a lot of fun!
I mostly knit, and I'm learning to crochet. I'm also Merelen on Ravelry.
I do machine and hand embroidery and quilt.
It is hard to learn?
The machine embroidery is expensive to do, but none of them are especially difficult to learn.
OK, thanks. I guess I'll have to pass on that - I'm too cheap.
Forget it Daniel, you'll only get your knickers in a twist. I've tried sewing and believe me it's best left alone.
Well, if he ripped those knickers, sewing would be good to know!
