I'm just about done with this Stocking
I'm making it for my 6 month old granddaughter and it is the 7th felt kit I've made. I also made a felted wool stocking and a woven ribbon stocking. I'll see if I can find a picture of all of them.
Do you have any special holiday crafts that you like to do or do you stick with your usual project(s)?
I have re-begunneth my knitting. I've taught myself almost everything except the basic stitch--currently I'm working on a cowl using leftover yarn from a blanket project. Trying to use up my rough acrylic yarn on practice pieces so I have an excuse to get some wool or nicer stuff.
Anyone else lust after project bags with abandon? I do: http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/200/TB0660 *drool* I actually made several project-holder bags lately--just to keep my yarn from being destroyed by the cat--the little monster will actually -eat- any yarn bits I don't hide from him.
There's an atheist group on ravelry, fyi, for crotcheters/knitters. I joined it and started a thread devoted to atheist/freethought-esque projects--since I was curious about what existed out there.
I got so excited when I found this group! Finally a group of like-minded artsy fartsy people! lol. I make jewelry in my spare time. Any other jewelry artists out there?
I'm a fiber arts instructor, yarn spindle maker, and woodturning enthusiast who is very happy to see this group exists!
YAY!
I added you, Linda, thank you! :)
Alayna, I love the floorcloth! How did you create that??
