Hey :)

IMHO Green Parties in general are the only parties any true atheist should vote for. They are the only party that puts science and knowledge before dogma and ideologies as a socio-political priority. It saddens me to no end that so few atheists see that.

I wish I could get more excited about the GP. But the county I live in is 100 percent GOP. Every elected official. Going up, the state representative and state senator, GOP. Governor, Tax Assessor, RR Commissioner, US Rep., US Sen. - all GOP. The only non-GOP elected official in the chain is Obama. And Texas certainly didn't help him get elected. The Texas GP might make a difference, but it doesn't seem possible in my county. I feel like my best shot at influence is to vote in the Republican primary so that my representatives will read my letters. Sad - yes.
