A short video explains the mechanism of Climate Change. I didn't know about the asymmetric charge thing.

I hope that microbial battery pans out as a commercial success, Idaho Spud. Thanks for the post.

TNT666, I fully agree with you on this:

I can fully imagine it costing more to park the cycle that way for a year than it is to buy a cycle! One thing about cyclist rights and accessibility. It should be near zero cost and near zero legal burden, since cyclists don't kill others, don't pollute, and cycling has its own health benefits.

If the costs of auto accidents is considered, a city would save money by subsidizing bike use, including secure parking.

And on climate denial ...

By producing electricity from the organic matter in wastewater, a new microbial battery may more than cover the costs of water purification. Sophie Bushwick reports:

Saving space??? Cars take up much more space than bicycles, I hope they are asking people to pay to park their cars that way too. I can fully imagine it costing more to park the cycle that way for a year than it is to buy a cycle! One thing about cyclist rights and accessibility. It should be near zero cost and near zero legal burden, since cyclists don't kill others, don't pollute, and cycling has its own health benefits.
